We held a Shops event where you could create your own original silkscreen prints using original designs by SUMMER PARK 2017 collaboration artist Luise Ono and Hiratsuka-born silkscreen artist Zonzai!

Today's guest is a SUMMER PARK 2017 collaboration artist.

Based on the theme of "maturation," the artist expresses the lush growth of plants, the flow of waves, and the energy that overflows in the natural world.

This is Zonzai, a silkscreen artist from Hiratsuka!

Teachers Luise and Zonzai will teach you one-on-one, so even beginners can feel at ease!

First, choose your favorite design from our original designs.

There are so many beautiful prints it's hard to choose!

Place the print you have chosen on the fabric you want to print on and fine-tune the position of the print.

Put ink on the top of the print and use a spatula to spread it from top to bottom so that it covers the illustration.

Then I slowly lifted the print up and lo and behold! It printed beautifully!

And let it dry for an hour...

Your original silkscreen print is now complete, the perfect keepsake for your summer vacation!
