SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT

SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT

3/22 (Wed) Uemoto Festival

This time, the Machi Library will be hosting a "Uehon Festival"!

The Uehonsai is a festival where you "plant" books on bookshelves. It has already been held at LaLaport SHONAN HIRATSUKA, and many customers donated books at that time.

On the day, we had the pleasure of having "Isoi Junmitsu" (proponent of the Town Library) and photo picture book author Yokozuka Makito, who continues to photograph animals living in the great outdoors, in attendance, and we held a free talk event with Isoi Junmitsu as facilitator!

Many children were glued to the screen during the reading of "Elephants, Forests, and Potato Chips."

Not only images but also animal sounds were shown, eliciting comments of surprise from participants!

During the Q&A session, the kindergarten children asked many interesting questions!

I have a feeling this photo book will be a turning point for him to become something big in the future...♪

At the autograph session, many customers had the opportunity to interact with Yokozuka Makito.

Everyone seemed to have fun taking photos and asking questions about the statues!

And here are some of the books that were donated!

Thank you for participating in the event!

We are still accepting donations, so please come visit the treehouse!
