Long-established oden restaurant in Ginza is now larger and newer Nihonbashi Ogura
"Oden and Seasonal Cuisine Ogura" is an oden restaurant that has been in business in Ginza for 40 years. Since its owner Yoshiyuki Ogura, who trained at the Ginza oden restaurant "Yasuko", opened in 1983, it has been a popular restaurant that has captivated many gourmets. Now, Ogura has opened in COREDO Muromachi as "Oden and Yakitori Ogura"!
Oden platter 1,800 yen (tax included)
Ogura is famous for its oden that "does not contain a single drop of soy sauce." If you are unsure of which of the many types of oden to choose, we recommend the assorted platter! The broth, made only from kelp from Rishiri Island and bonito flakes from Makurazaki, has a beautiful, clear color. It has a light salty flavor with a rich, gentle taste.
The daikon radish, which has been simmered for three days, is so soft that it crumbles when you put your chopsticks in it. The fact that it is slightly brownish even though not a drop of soy sauce is proof that the broth has soaked into it that the color of the bonito and kelp has been transferred to it.
Please enjoy delicious oden in a relaxed atmosphere in our spacious restaurant. -
