PIERRE MARCOLINI, a leading Belgian chocolate brand, is bringing back its popular "Parfait à la Minute Caramel Chocolat & Marron" from its café on the 1st floor of COREDO Muromachi Terrace, which debuted last autumn. This luxurious parfait allows you to enjoy the flavors of autumn's chestnut and the brand's signature chocolate all at once.

At the center, two silky, freshly made ice creams, "Turvine Minute Chocolat" and "Turvine Minute Caramel," are stacked and decorated with two chocolate plates. Merengue cinnamon, served on the side, adds a textural and flavorful accent.

The rich flavor of chestnut and chocolate pairs perfectly with coffee or tea. Please enjoy this autumnal treat at your leisure.

  • COREDO Muromachi Terrace 1F "Fruit Daifuku Benzaiten" Dried Persimmon Butter Daifuku

    fig

Dried Persimmon Butter Daifuku: 1,390 yen (tax included)
Sales period: Until around the end of December

This autumn, "Fruit Daifuku Benzaiten," which relocated and reopened on the 1st floor of COREDO Muromachi Terrace, will be introducing a new autumn menu item: "Dried Persimmon Butter Daifuku." This treat combines sweet, concentrated dried persimmon with salted butter, mascarpone cheese, and chopped dried persimmon, all wrapped in Benzaiten's original white bean paste and soft mochi.

The product uses "Ichida persimmons," which are characterized by their elegant sweetness and sticky texture. While making the most of the natural, rich sweetness of the dried persimmons, it is layered with the mellow richness of butter and the smooth texture of mascarpone cheese. Furthermore, by adding chopped dried persimmons, the presence of dried persimmons can be clearly felt with every bite.

    fig

During development, we focused on the perfect balance of ingredients to enhance the sweetness of the dried persimmons, using the richness of butter as a base and adjusting the mascarpone so that it doesn't overpower the other flavors. The sticky dried persimmons, smooth cream, and chewy mochi combine to create a unique texture that, while a Japanese confection, offers the satisfaction of a Western-style dessert.

Perfect for everyday snacks, as well as for a slightly more special adult moment as a dessert after a meal. It pairs especially well with wine, so we recommend enjoying it with a drink.

  • FUNABASHIYA, 1st floor of COREDO Muromachi 1: Sweet chestnut and matcha anmitsu

    fig

Sweet chestnut and matcha anmitsu (takeout item) 680 yen (tax included)
Sales period: Until October 24th (Saturday)

FUNABASHIYA shop located on the 1st floor of COREDO Muromachi 1, is offering a limited-time autumn product: "Sweet Chestnut and Matcha Anmitsu." They've replaced the black bean paste in their popular "Matcha Shiratama Anmitsu" with sweet chestnut paste, creating a dish that lets you fully enjoy the deliciousness of seasonal sweet chestnuts.

    fig

One of the unique charms of anmitsu is that you can enjoy the textures and flavors of various ingredients all at once. Inside the cup, you'll find eight delicious things in one place: fluffy sweet chestnut paste, nutritious goji berries, kudzu mochi with its distinctive chewiness, mochi-like rice flour dumplings, soft gyuhi, rich matcha agar jelly, agar jelly with a strong scent of the sea, and red peas from Hokkaido.

A generous drizzle of our special black syrup at the end brings together the subtle bitterness of the matcha, the fragrant sweetness of the roasted chestnuts, and the just-right saltiness of the red peas, creating a deep, autumnal flavor. Enjoy this unique take on anmitsu.

  • Nihonbashi Dashiba Main Store, 1st Floor, COREDO Muromachi 1: Dashi Amazake

    fig

Dashi Amazake (sweet rice drink with dashi broth) 300 yen (tax included)
Sales period: Until November 29th (Sunday)

At "Nihonbashi Dashiba Main Store," located next to "Ninben Nihonbashi Main Store" on the 1st floor of COREDO Muromachi 1, they have previously sold original amazake (sweet rice drink) for a limited time, such as "Sakura-colored Dashi Amazake" and "Chilled Dashi Amazake." Due to their popularity, this autumn they will be introducing "Dashi Amazake," which allows you to enjoy the combination of amazake and dashi (broth) in an even simpler way.

By diluting the koji amazake with bonito broth made from freshly shaved dried bonito flakes, the gentle sweetness of the amazake is enhanced by the umami of the broth.

    fig

The key is the exquisite balance of sweetness and umami, achieved after numerous trials and errors. It has a lighter sweetness than regular amazake, and the unique depth of flavor from the bonito flakes gives it an unparalleled taste.

A perfect drink for an autumn break, different from sweets. Enjoy a new way to savor dashi (Japanese broth), easily available in-store or as takeout.
