  • COREDO Muromachi Terrace "Iinoji" Chicken Salt Lemon Udon

    fig

Chicken Salt Lemon Udon: 1,300 yen (tax included)

For a casual yet exquisite Japanese dining experience, head to "Iinoji" on the 1st floor of COREDO Muromachi Terrace. Their udon noodles, made with a fragrant, specially prepared broth using high-quality dried sardines, are a popular lunch item.

This summer, "Chicken Salt Lemon Udon" will be joining the lineup of udon dishes at "Iinoji"!

    fig

This cold udon dish uses 100% domestically produced wheat and is served with a light and refreshing broth, topped with chicken, Japanese ginger, perilla leaves, grated daikon radish, radish sprouts, and sliced SLY.

    fig

The tender chicken, thoroughly infused with flavor, the crunchy texture of the coarsely grated daikon radish, and the refreshing acidity of the condiments and lemon all perfectly complement the chewy udon noodles!

The rich texture and flavor will whet your appetite.

    fig

The mixed rice served with the udon noodles is, surprisingly, all-you-can-eat! It's so delicious, you wouldn't believe it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

  • COREDO Muromachi 1 "Nihonbashi Kanifuku" Crab Somen

    fig

The summer-only menu at "Nihonbashi Kanifuku," a crab restaurant on the 3rd floor of COREDO Muromachi 1, is "crab somen."

This is a summer staple that many of our regular customers look forward to every year, and it's so popular that some people start asking "Isn't it out yet?" as early as June.

While crab is strongly associated with winter, we want people to enjoy it even in the summer. With that in mind, we created an original menu item at "Nihonbashi Kanifuku" that combines crab and somen noodles.

    fig

The somen noodles are served in a homemade broth made with bonito flakes, kelp, and white soy sauce, and are generously topped with crab meat. The thin noodles and crab meat intertwine perfectly, allowing you to savor the delicious flavor of crab with every bite.

Cucumber and Japanese ginger are piled in the center, with ginger and green onions served on a separate plate. Eating it with the condiments makes it even more refreshing! Even when the heat makes you not have much of an appetite, this dish is sure to whet your appetite.

    fig

Furthermore, alongside the somen noodles, there's also a luxurious eel rice bowl!

The eel is thick, fluffy, and melts in your mouth. Just two slices are enough to make you want more rice, and it's very satisfying. It's also great for boosting your stamina.

The sesame and sansho pepper condiments on the table are also a perfect match, so be sure to try them.

    fig

During lunchtime, along with your order, you'll be served "three small jars" containing three kinds of side dishes: simmered kelp, pickles, and simmered dried daikon radish.

And what's more, you can take as much as you like from these small plates and eat as much as you want! Everything is incredibly flavorful and delicious.

Enjoy a lunch that will leave you completely satisfied with both the taste and the portion size.

    fig

The "Lemon-Scented Seafood Cold Noodles," which were sold last summer at "JUKEI CASUAL KITCHEN" on B1 of COREDO Muromachi 2 and proved to be a hit, are back again this year!

Cold Chinese noodles are served in a salty soup made with chicken and pork as the base, flavored with lemon, and topped with a salad of fresh vegetables, squid, scallops, shrimp, and lemon.

With its light broth and generous portions of vegetables and seafood, this dish is prepared in a healthy way.

    fig

The dish is finished with a drizzle of black pepper and sansho pepper oil, giving it a slightly spicy and refreshing taste.

If you like spicy food, you can add chili oil or Sichuan pepper from the table for an even more flavorful kick!

    fig

  • COREDO Muromachi 1 "NIHONBASHI INFORMATION" Ozu Washi Paper Balloons

    fig

Ozu Washi Goldfish Paper Balloon: 550 yen (tax included)

    fig

Ozu Washi Penguin Paper Balloon: 660 yen (tax included)

Paper balloons are a traditional Japanese toy that evokes nostalgia for adults and seems fresh and new to children.

However, the paper balloons I found at NIHONBASHI INFORMATION on B1 of COREDO Muromachi 1 were not the familiar colors and shapes, but rather featured cute goldfish and penguins, making them a rather unusual design.

    fig

The product was created by Ozu Washi, a traditional Japanese paper specialty store in Nihonbashi. Founded in 1653, this long-established store boasts a history of over 370 years, and this playful item is a testament to their dedication.

It has a cool, summery feel, making it perfect for this season.

    fig

Not only can you play with them as paper balloons, but since they have strings attached, you can also hang them up as decorations.

They look adorable swaying gently in the wind.
