The main store is located in Yugawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is notoriously difficult to get a reservation at. Customers flock to the main store from all over the country every morning at 7:00 a.m. to get a numbered ticket, which is distributed from then until opening time at 11:00 a.m. Sometimes they sell out and close before opening time.
Under the owner's self-imposed rule of never using any flavor enhancers, the ramen, made with carefully selected ingredients such as homemade noodles from domestic wheat, naturally brewed soy sauce, and several types of free-range chicken, continues to evolve day by day.
