"Minato Aquls 2025 Winter Art Event - Smile Tree Project"

Minato Akursu will be holding the "Minato Akursu 2025 Winter Art Event - Smile Tree Project" at the Canal Walk in front of the south entrance of LaLaport, December 15, 2025 to Monday, January 12, 2026 (national holiday).
 
"Fruit of Light," a collaborative light art piece created by artist Kyota Takahashi, will gently illuminate the trees again this year.
The Smile Tree Project has been well received every year, and this year marks its fifth year.
Additionally, during the event, colorful LED balls will decorate the canal embankments.
 
The "Fruits of Light" that illuminate the trees are works of light that participants create by drawing the "smile" of a loved one on a fruit bag, then filling it with a small LED light and inflating it.
The trees along the waterfront will be decorated with the smiling faces of loved ones drawn by local nurseries, residents of Minato Aquls, and visitors to the town.
Minato Aquls, which is based on the concept of "a town that fosters connections between people, the environment, and the community," will bring you a heartwarming winter night view.
 
We will hold a Shops to create such "Fruit of Light."
