For three days, from Thursday, September 24th, Friday, September 25th, to Saturday, September 26th, we will be serving "Nagaoka-grown Koshihikari rice stored in a snow cellar," produced through the "KOME-DOKORO COI-NEXT" project, as part of our lunch set meals.

"KOME-DOKORO COI-NEXT" is a fully circular regional resource bio-community that brings together universities and research institutions inside and outside Niigata Prefecture, local farmers and manufacturers, local governments, and financial institutions to utilize abundant resources and technologies to pass on Niigata, a major rice-producing region, to future generations and realize a society where food is produced from the countryside and where young people can continue to live.

As part of this activity, we are researching preservation environments in "snow cellars."
It has been scientifically proven that preserving food in a "snow cellar," which provides a stable environment throughout the year thanks to the power of snow, can maintain its freshness.
This time, we wanted to share with everyone the deliciousness of "snow-storage rice," which is specially cultivated Koshihikari rice grown by farmers in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, and carefully stored in a "snow cellar" for about six months. Therefore, we have decided to offer it as a set meal during lunchtime.

On the day of the event, we will give away 2 cups of "snow-stored rice" to customers who participate in our survey about this product.
