Every year on Labor Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd (Sunday), a large-scale festival called Niiname-sai is held at shrines across the country.
In Japanese mythology, it is said that the origin of the festival was when Amaterasu Omikami ate the first fruits of the harvest.
In the real world, the Niiname-sai festival has been held since the Asuka period to give thanks for bountiful harvests.

Suigian will celebrate the Niiname-sai festival, the most important festival of the gods, with a performance by the 10th head of the Ishiyama-shachu school.
Inari Daimyojin's "Dance of the Rice Ears" promises you bountiful harvests for all eternity.
We have prepared a course meal exclusively for this performance, themed around the Niiname-sai festival, where you can savor the flavors of late autumn.

*Niiname-sai: A ritual in which the newly harvested rice and other grains of the year are offered to the gods and eaten by the Emperor in thanksgiving for the harvest.
*Amaterasu Omikami: The sun goddess who is considered the supreme deity in Japanese mythology. She is enshrined at the Inner Shrine of Ise Grand Shrine as the ancestor of the Imperial family.
