Karimoku 60 LaLaport Toyosu store is hosting an event from Friday, January 16th to Sunday, February 1st, showcasing HARIO's 100-year tradition of craftsmanship: "Transparent accessories made by hand."

Founded in 1921, HARIO has been making glass for over 100 years and is the only long-established glass manufacturer in Japan with a heat-resistant glass factory.

When the company was first founded, craftsmen made each and every lab equipment, such as beakers and flasks, by hand, but later they began using machines to manufacture the equipment, and now there are fewer people in the factory.

So we want to go back to our roots and pass on to the next generation the hand-crafted glassworking techniques of our glass artisans that have supported the growth of HARIO.
With this in mind, HARIO Lampwork Factory was established in 2015 to preserve and improve the handicraft skills of artisans.

This special exhibition will introduce HARIO Lampwork Factory 's manufacturing philosophy and techniques, and will feature a carefully selected selection of approximately 80 items, including earrings, necklaces, hair ties, and rings.

Enjoy the unique shimmer of the glass, which is a result of artisans carefully handcrafting each piece.
We look forward to seeing you all.
