Background of the development of "Clutch Shot"
Molten has continued to work to improve the basketball environment and enhance competitiveness in Japan, including the release of the "B+ Shooting Machine" in 2020. Currently, more than 300 units have been installed nationwide, and efforts to improve the quality of practice are spreading.
On the other hand, there are still not many places where people can casually enjoy shooting, regardless of whether they have competitive experience or not.
I want to spread the joy of making a shot and the feeling that makes you want to try again to as many people as possible.
With this in mind, we began developing a new, interactive shooting game that utilizes sensing technology and gamification, allowing anyone to intuitively enjoy it.
This event was planned as a way for people to experience the appeal and potential of "Clutch Shot" early on, as well as to gauge the reaction of the many people and identify areas for improvement, and use this information to guide future developments.
