October 21st is #ReptileAwarenessDay!!

"Reptile Awareness Day" is a commemorative day certified by the Japan Anniversary Association, a general incorporated association, and was established on October 21st with the aim of raising awareness about the current situation and conservation of reptiles and conveying their appeal!
This anniversary is an opportunity to deepen our understanding of reptiles and consider their conservation and coexistence!

First of all, reptiles are a class of vertebrates, including turtles, lizards, and snakes, whose bodies are covered with scales and who lay eggs enclosed in shells!

One of the attractions of snakes is their unique appearance, such as their sharp eyes, scales, vivid colors, and distinctive body shapes, as well as their smooth, cool feel!
Lizards are also closely related to dinosaurs in their evolutionary family, and they look just like dinosaurs, which is fascinating!

The #blueiguana in the photo is a large lizard that grows to nearly 2 meters in length, and with its crest on its back, sharp claws and sharp face, it is sometimes described as a "modern dinosaur"!

We also hold events where you can interact with these reptiles!

Come and experience the charm of reptiles for yourself!

All of our animal staff look forward to your visit!

*The event may be cancelled depending on the health of the animals.
