Spring Bon Dance Festival at LaLaport NAGOYA minato AQULS

The Bon Odori Festival, which has become an annual spring and autumn event, will be held again this spring at the outdoor event space "Decagon" in LaLaport NAGOYA minato AQULS.
Let's dance together to Bon Odori dances from all over Japan, focusing on songs danced to in Nagoya, ranging from traditional folk dances to J-POP!
Participation is free!
Whether you're a fan of Bon Odori or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome to participate.
Join the circle whenever you like, and leave whenever you like! Please enjoy the Bon Odori dance at your leisure.
There's no dress code, so casual clothes and sneakers are perfectly fine!
[Please Note] The venue has artificial turf, so please refrain from making noise with sandals or other footwear to protect the turf. A separate area will be provided where you can enjoy making noise by kicking the ground with sandals or similar footwear.

★Information about the taiko drumming experience corner for children of elementary school age and younger★
1:50 PM to 2:20 PM
There will be a Bon Odori (traditional Japanese dance) time for children.
The first 32 people to arrive will have the opportunity to experience playing Japanese drums along to actual music.
We will be distributing drumming tickets at the reception desk starting at 10:00 AM. If you wish to participate, please come to the reception desk on the day of the event.
*If you have a Taiko ticket, please come to the venue when the time comes.
*Please note that distribution will end once the predetermined number of items has been reached.

★Information about the open practice session★
For those who want to dance more on the day of the event, or who want to learn the dances to enjoy it even more, we will be holding open practice sessions focusing on the group dance songs from the event on the following dates. Even those who have never danced Bon Odori before can enjoy it.

No prior reservation is required, so please feel free to join us.
(Some songs require the use of fans, so please bring one if needed.)

Smoking is prohibited around the event venue. Please use the designated smoking area if you wish to smoke.
Please refrain from eating or drinking in the dance circle.
・If there are many participants, staff may ask you to organize the group.
Please refrain from taking photos or videos within the dance circle, as it is extremely dangerous (with the exception of some activities such as the children's corner).
・In addition, staff may ask for your cooperation on the day of the event.
