Nihonbashi has a strong image as a town for grown-ups, but there are plenty of restaurants here that you can enjoy casually. There are open seating areas where you can easily enter, as well as more secluded and relaxing seating areas, so you can choose the one that suits your mood and the occasion.

From a quick drink after work to a large banquet or after-party, if you're having trouble choosing a restaurant in Nihonbashi, why not start with COREDO Muromachi Terrace?

    fig

This time, we will introduce six stores located in the incredibly convenient COREDO Muromachi Terrace B1: Hakata New Komatsu, Daikinboshi, Uomori, Shinbudo Dim Sum Club, okinawa slow food uminoie gachimaya, and Tai Shio Soba Touka.

  • Hakata New Komatsu: Recommended for two people

    fig

Hakata New Komatsu is impressive with its counter seats surrounding the kitchen and chabudai seats in the corner of the store. Operated by the Fukuoka-based restaurant chain COMATSU Group, this restaurant offers authentic Kyushu flavors such as sesame mackerel, chicken skin skewers, and shochu.

One of their specialties is the "Motsunabe" hotpot, which comes in three varieties: Kyushu soy sauce, spicy miso, and mentaiko tororo. The most popular is the Kyushu soy sauce, a classic flavor made with dashi stock imported from Fukuoka.

    fig

Motsunabe Kyushu Soy Sauce 1,300 yen (tax included) *Orders must be made for two or more people *The photo shows a two-person portion / Komatsu Pale Ale 1,250 yen (tax included)

The motsunabe, served on a tabletop stove, has a clear broth with added punch from garlic and chili peppers, bringing out the flavor of the ingredients, such as chives, burdock, cabbage, and tofu.

The best feature is the surprisingly large cuts of "motsu" (offal). The meltingly sweet fat and firm texture are irresistible!

The final dish is champon, which is quite filling.

    fig

The beer that goes well with the motsunabe is Komatsu Pale Ale, an original craft beer brewed at their own factory in Kyushu.

The richness and aroma of the malt is on par with the offal, creating an exquisite balance that will have you drinking and eating more and more!

Other products available at Hakata New Komatsu include "Today's cask craft beer," "Ureshino green tea highball," Kyushu shochu, and sake. Come and enjoy the delicious flavors of Kyushu to your heart's content!

  • "Daikinboshi" is recommended for groups of 4

    fig

Daikinboshi is marked by an oversized lantern and a rope curtain. As the words "A popular izakaya that offers more than its value" written on the lantern suggest, this restaurant is committed to serving satisfying portions at reasonable prices.

Another specialty of Daikinboshi is the Teppan Yonami Yakisoba, which is ordered by most customers. It can only be ordered once an hour, when a staff member comes to take your order!

The reason is that it is cooked all at once on a large iron plate. The yakisoba, which is made on an iron plate, is very filling, yet surprisingly priced at less than 500 yen.

    fig

Iron plate night naki yakisoba 473 yen (tax included) / Medium mug of draft beer 627 yen (tax included)

The sauce is made with a unique blend of our own ingredients, and the aroma that only teppanyaki can provide adds to the rich flavor, making it an excellent snack to accompany alcoholic drinks.

The chewy noodles are filled with plenty of ingredients such as pork and cabbage, and it's no wonder that many customers come just for this delicious dish.

Of course, draft beer is a must-have. They also have a mega size (1,320 yen including tax) that is 2.5 times the regular size, so if you're a beer lover, this is the one for you!
