[2025 Summary] Writer's Choice: 10 COREDO Muromachi Dishes You'll Want to Try Again

2025/12/26
  • COREDO Magazine has encountered and introduced many delicious dishes in 2025. There are many dishes that we have visited during our interviews and were so impressed with when we tried them that we thought, "I want to eat that again!"

So this time, COREDO Magazine writers have picked out some particularly memorable gourmet dishes from the many menus they covered in 2025! We've selected 10 dishes that you can enjoy at COREDO Muromachi in 2026 as well.

  • "Vindaloo Chicken Curry" from Mother India Mitsukoshimae branch

    fig

Vindaloo Chicken Curry 1,200 yen (tax included)

Mother India Mitsukoshimae, located on the first floor of COREDO Muromachi Terrace, is a place where you can enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. The restaurant imports selected spices directly from the factory, making it a must-visit for spice lovers.

I love spicy curry so much that I even make it myself, but this was the first time I had tried a curry called "vindaloo."

When I tried it, I was surprised to find that it was surprisingly spicy! It went perfectly with the slightly sweet naan.

The biggest feature of this dish is that it uses vinegar. The spiciness, sourness, and umami of the chicken and vegetables all blend together to create an addictively delicious dish.

Next time I'll try it with rice!

  • Homemade Ramen Muginaemuromachi 's "Local Chicken Soy Sauce Ramen"

    fig

Local chicken soy sauce ramen 1,200 yen (tax included)

Homemade Ramen Muginaemuromachi, located on B1 of COREDO Muromachi 2, is known for its signature soy sauce ramen packed with the delicious flavor of local chicken. The appeal is that you can enjoy the flavors of a famous ramen shop in Omori, a hotbed of ramen, in Nihonbashi.

Soy sauce ramen has a light image in mind, but this bowl has a strong, satisfying flavor from the chicken stock.

The chopped purple onion topping adds a crunchy texture and a subtle sweetness, making it enjoyable until the very end.

Of course, I drank all the soup!

The noodles had a rich wheat flavor, and the pork slices were made with pork shoulder loin, cooked at low temperature and grilled. Each was carefully prepared, resulting in a bowl of ramen with a high level of perfection.

  • Okiya Takumi's "Okiya Course"

    fig

Original Okiya Course: 8,000 yen per person (tax included) *The photo shows a portion for four *Orders are accepted for three or more people *The menu may change depending on the season and the availability of ingredients.

Speaking of memorable menu items, the Okiya Course (now renamed the Original Okiya Course) that I had at Okiya Takumi on the second floor of COREDO Muromachi 2 is also a must-try.

The impressive appearance and presentation of signature dishes such as "Ayers Rock of Meat" LIBRO Steak and "Okiya Menchi-katsu" will be unforgettable once you see them!

Despite the generous portions, there was no compromise on taste, and all the dishes were delicious. In particular, the "Original Oki Monja" served towards the end of the meal contained 11 different ingredients, and was so delicious that it was ranked ICHII second in my personal monja rankings.

Due to rising prices, the price has gone up since the time of this interview, but I still think it's worth it for the volume.

However, surprisingly, the all-you-can-drink plan has been extended from 90 minutes to 120 minutes, and the price has been reduced from 2,500 yen (tax included) to 2,200 yen (tax included)! Hats off to this spirit Services that goes against the times.

Okiya Takumi is sure to liven up any party. Please use it for New Year's parties or farewell parties!

  • Beef Tongue Mihashi's "Beef Tongue"

    fig

[Dinner] Large beef tongue 2,640 yen (tax included), land highball 605 yen (tax included)

At Gyutan Mihashi, located on the B1 floor of Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower which opened in the spring of 2025, I had Sendai-style beef tongue.

First of all, the quality of the beef tongue itself is high, and it's cooked perfectly. It has a pleasant texture, yet is soft enough to be easily chewed, and the inside is juicy, which I was impressed with.

My financial situation means I can't afford it every day (lol), but when I want to splurge a little, I often order the "Beef Tongue Set Meal" for lunch! The freshly cooked rice is also really delicious.

For lunch, they also have reasonable menu items such as beef tongue curry, which we also recommend!

It's directly connected to the station and has counter seats, so it's a great way to reward yourself after a hard day's work by having some beef tongue and a quick drink before heading home.

I would like to visit again at dinner time next time.

  • okinawa slow food uminoie gachimaya 's "Gachimaya Soba"

    fig

Gachimaya Soba 1,078 yen (tax included)

okinawa slow food uminoie gachimaya, located on B1 of COREDO Muromachi Terrace, is the only Okinawan restaurant in COREDO Muromachi. It's always bustling, especially at lunchtime, and is sure to have many fans among COREDO Magazine readers.

They receive ingredients from Okinawa by air every day, and all of their menu items are authentically delicious, but my personal favorite is the Gachimaya Soba, their signature dish of Okinawa soba topped with pork ribs, rafute, kamaboko, and shredded egg.

The chewy, springy, and firm noodles that are unique to Okinawa soba are mixed with the delicious soup, making it irresistible! I had been to Okinawa shortly before this interview, and I remember being impressed, thinking, "This might even be tastier than the local version!"

Thinking about it like this makes me want to eat it again!

  • Uomori's "Bluefin Tuna Hamadashi Toro Tekkamaki"

    fig

Bluefin tuna overflowing fatty tuna roll 1,100 yen (tax included)

Uomori, a seafood izakaya located on the basement floor of COREDO Muromachi Terrace, is a place where you can enjoy fresh seafood delivered from ports all over the country and carefully selected sake. If you visit, you should definitely try the "Bluefin Tuna Hamidashi Toro Tekka Maki."

First of all, you'll be overwhelmed by the spectacular sight of the fatty tuna spilling out. It's so impressive you'll want to take a photo!

What's more, the finishing touch of sprinkling dried mullet roe on the dish adds a special touch.

The fatty otoro has a texture that melts in your mouth the moment you put it in, allowing you to enjoy its rich flavor to your heart's content.

The appearance and taste were both amazing!

By the way, during interviews, the writer usually tastes the food alone, but on this day the designer and photographer also joined in. It was impressive to see everyone reaching out for the food because of the delicious-looking visuals.

  • JUKEI CASUAL KITCHEN 's "Chongqing Mala Gyoza"

    fig

Chongqing Mala Gyoza 3 pieces 380 yen (tax included) 6 pieces 750 yen (tax included)

JUKEI CASUAL KITCHEN is a casual brand of the famous Chongqing Chinese restaurant in Yokohama Chinatown. Located on the basement floor of COREDO Muromachi 2, Chongqing Kitchen offers casual dining and authentic Chinese cuisine, including the restaurant's famous mapo tofu.

The most recommended dish is the "Chongqing Mala Gyoza." The filling is made with mala sauce and oyster sauce, so you can enjoy the flavor of the filling without adding any sauce.

The numbing effect of the Japanese pepper sprinkled on top and the spiciness of the mala sauce are exquisite, and are sure to go down a treat with beer. (If only I wasn't at work... I couldn't stop thinking about this many times during my interview!)

The meat juice is not too strong, but that's what makes it so good. It's light enough that you can eat as many as you want, making it the perfect dish to go with alcohol.

There's also a great happy hour, so if you're a drinker, be sure to check it out.

  • "Cheese Hamburger Omelet" from NikutoTamago Nihonbashi

    fig

Cheese hamburger omelette 1,690 yen (tax included)

NikutoTamago Nihonbashi, which opened this fall on the B1 floor of COREDO Muromachi 2, is a meat omelet rice specialty store where you can enjoy authentic omelet rice and meat that pairs perfectly with it all on one plate.

One of the features of this restaurant is that you can freely customize it to enjoy a variety of delicious flavors, but one dish that we highly recommend you try is the ``Cheese Hamburger Omelet.''

Above all, the hand-kneaded hamburger steak cooked in a steam convection oven is so juicy that a flood of meat juices comes out the moment you cut into it!

The mouthwatering appearance and deliciousness that didn't betray its appearance got me super excited, and although I had only intended to just taste a little, I ended up eating the whole thing in one go (lol).

What's more, the soup and coleslaw are now all-you-can-eat! The satisfaction level has increased even more, so I'm looking forward to going back to eat there again.

  • Dashi-inari Umiki's "Dashi-inari"

    fig

    Dashi-inari (4 pieces) 1,490 yen (tax included)

Dashi-inari Umiki is a specialty shop for dashi-inari, located on the first floor COREDO Muromachi Terrace.

Of course I knew about this extremely popular restaurant, but the day of the interview was the first time I actually tried their "Dashi Inari." When I tried it, the broth spread throughout my mouth, and I immediately realized that it was no ordinary inari sushi.

After hearing directly from the proprietress about the thoughts that went into the product, the gentle flavor resonated even more with me!

Just as the proprietress says, she wants to cherish the gentle flavor that is a part of everyday life, making it something you'll want to eat every day, like white rice, and just as she says, it's a dish that you'll often find yourself thinking, "I want to eat this again."

By the way, when I asked my son, who is an elementary school student, to try it, he said, "It's completely different from the usual inari!" It seems that even children can appreciate the deep flavor. It has become a family favorite.
