    ZAKURO a long-established Japanese restaurant that celebrated its 70th anniversary this year. It is known as the first Japanese restaurant to introduce shabu-shabu to Tokyo, and has continued to be loved by many regular customers, including cultural figures.

    ZAKURO Muromachi, located on the 1st and 4F floors of COREDO Muromachi, opened 15 years ago, the same year the facility first opened. Featuring a modern, open hall and relaxing Western-style private rooms, the store is decorated with a variety of art and crafts, including those by Shiko Munakata, delighting the eyes of guest.

    The "Relaxed Shabu-Shabu Course in a Private Room" that we are introducing this time is, as the name suggests, a luxurious course where you can enjoy Zakuro's ZAKURO dish, shabu-shabu, in a private room.

    The price includes private room charges and Services charges. For an additional 4,000 yen (tax included), you can add two hours of all-you-can-drink. You can enjoy a wide range of drinks, including draft beer, sake, shochu, wine, plum wine, and soft drinks.

    Two of ZAKURO 's signature dishes will be served as an appetizer.

    Asparagus Tofu

    Tomato salad

    On this day, there were two dishes: "Asparagus Tofu," which is egg tofu with white asparagus and crab meat underneath, and "Tomato Salad," which is served with a soy sauce-based dressing containing celery seeds.

    Both dishes may look simple, but even the seasonings are homemade, and once you try them, you'll understand why they've become a local specialty.The refreshing taste will whet your appetite.

    After the appetizers, a platter of two types of sashimi is served, and then the long-awaited shabu-shabu is finally served!

    The A4 grade Japanese Black beef has delicate and beautiful marbling, and you can tell how delicious it is even before you eat it.

    There are two types of dipping sauces: ponzu and sesame. You can also enjoy changing the flavor by adding grated maple leaves and garlic paste.

    The sesame sauce is especially popular, with its special spicy flavor made from ZAKURO.

    The meat is quickly dipped in the boiling broth in a copper pot, then dipped in sesame sauce and served in your mouth. It's truly blissful! The strong flavors of the sesame and the Wagyu beef complement each other perfectly.

    The vegetables used are green onions, shiitake mushrooms, Chinese cabbage, komatsuna, tofu, and harusame noodles. It goes without saying that they go perfectly with meat!

    To finish off your shabu-shabu, add Chinese noodles. You can choose from salt and pepper or soy sauce, and the staff will finish it for you.

    The soup, made with Wagyu beef and vegetable stock, has a mild flavor that permeates your palate with a rich, nutritious taste.

    Finally, we had a sorbet for dessert, which left a refreshing aftertaste! This course meal not only satisfied our stomachs, but also our hearts.

    For those who prefer a more casual dining experience, the domestic beef loin and pork loin shabu-shabu set (120g) is available in the hall seating area starting at 5,808 yen (tax included). You can enjoy this historic shabu-shabu at a reasonable price.

    We have two private rooms for 4 people, two for 6 people, and a semi-private room that can accommodate up to 17 people. If you rent out the entire hall, it can accommodate up to 40 people.

    Hours of operation are from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM. There is no time limit for using the private rooms, so you can relax without worrying about time.

    Our "Relaxed Shabu-Shabu Course in a Private Room" is perfect for business entertainment, anniversaries with loved ones, weddings, and other must-have occasions. Enjoy the exquisite cuisine and hospitality that only a long-established restaurant can offer.

  • [LINA STORES] Enjoying Italian food culture through sharing

    LINA STORES, located on the 1st floor of COREDO Muromachi 1, is an Italian restaurant that originated in London's Soho district in 1944. It is an all-day dining restaurant where you can enjoy everything from lunch to aperitifs and dinner, with a focus on its signature dish of fresh handmade pasta.

    LINA STORES' course menu has been revamped this fall! It is a prix fixe course that adopts the style of sharing dishes on large platters, which is common in Italian restaurants. Another appeal of sharing is that you can try a variety of dishes.

    There are three course options available: the casual 4,000 yen (tax included) course, the 5,000 yen (tax included) course with a wide selection of popular dishes, and the luxurious 7,500 yen (tax included) course, which includes a choice of steak. You can choose the course that best suits your budget.

    The 7,500 yen (tax included) course that I had this time started with rosemary focaccia, and four appetizers were served: eggplant polpette, Aomori Prefecture prosciutto and seasonal fruit, sea bream carpaccio, and roast veal with tonnato sauce.

    Fresh truffle and parmesan tagliolini

    Next, you can choose two pasta dishes from 11 varieties, one fish or meat main dish, and one drink from five options. What's great is that no matter what menu you choose, there's no additional charge!

    This time, we chose "Pomodoro Spaghetti with Burrata" and "Fresh Truffle and Parmesan Tagliolini" for pasta, and "Grilled Domestic Beef with Fiorentina Butter Sauce" for the main course!

    The "Grilled Domestic Beef" option is only available with this "7,500 yen (tax included) course." The original Fiorentina butter sauce, flavored with garlic and herbs, matches perfectly with the juicy grilled domestic beef! This is a dish you'll want to savor with a squeeze of lemon.

    The final dessert was a platter of "drumstick brownies" and "tiramisu." It was a very satisfying course, both in volume and flavor!

    The menu also includes Italian beer "Peroni," Italian wine, and cocktails made with liqueurs such as "Aperol" and "Limoncello," creating a lineup unique to an Italian restaurant.

    The third store is @ Kitchen NIHONBASHI, a shared kitchen on the second floor of COREDO Muromachi 2. It is a food court-style restaurant where you can freely enjoy menus from a variety of stores.

    Currently, there are five specialty shops: spice curry specialty shop "Namara Nihonbashi", canelé specialty shop "Canelé de Chianti", Vietnamese sandwich specialty shop "Banh Mi Xin Chao", cheesecake specialty shop "CHEESE! CHEESE! CHEE3E!", and bolognese specialty shop "Tokyo Bolognese".

    The restaurant only started offering course meals this year, but has already gained popularity, with many repeat customers, as they can enjoy the deliciousness of a specialty restaurant at a reasonable price.

    The wide variety of nine carefully selected dishes, plus two hours of all-you-can-drink, is an amazing 5,500 yen (tax included)! For an additional 1,000 yen (tax included), you can add another hour of all-you-can-drink.

    The menu for this day consisted of appetizers such as chicken salad, fresh spring rolls, and French fries, main courses such as grilled pork banh mi, grilled chicken, and fried fish, main courses such as chicken and onion curry and penne bolognese, and dessert such as mini canelés, all of which were main course worthy.

    The "Grilled Pork Banh Mi" is an authentic dish that is packed with cilantro. It has an excellent balance of sweet, spicy, and sour flavors!

    "Bolognese Penne" is a bolognese made with minced meat and tomatoes, served with short penne pasta.It is delicious even after some time has passed.

    The "Chicken and Onion Waterless Curry" is made by adding bone-in chicken thighs to slowly sautéed onions and tomatoes, and simmering them with just salt and a few spices. It's the perfect way to finish off a course. The curry changes daily, so you can look forward to what will be served!

    The bite-sized "mini canelés" come in two flavors: plain and chocolate. These specialty canelés are carefully baked one by one by artisans, and are delicious, as you'd expect. There's no compromise on desserts either.

    @ Kitchen NIHONBASHI's course menu can be booked for a minimum of four people. The spacious restaurant can accommodate up to 70 people seated, or over 100 people for a standing reception.

    The "best of both worlds" course, packed with the specialty menu items of specialty restaurants, is something you can only get at a shared kitchen. It's sure to satisfy not only those who drink alcohol, but also those who mainly enjoy food!
