We will introduce them to you along with the stories and attention to detail that go into each product. -
HAKUZA NIHONBASHI "Golden glow that elevates chocolate"
HAKUZA NIHONBASHI, located on the first floor of COREDO Muromachi 1, is a shop that pursues the inherent beauty and value of gold leaf. It stocks a wide range of items that use real gold leaf, but the one we picked out this time to go with your chocolate is the "En" series of gold leaf for cooking. The name "En" not only refers to the bond between people, but also comes from the traditional gold leaf manufacturing method, "Entsuke Kinpaku."
Gold leaf bordered paper
Bordered gold leaf, a uniquely Japanese manufacturing method with over 400 years of history, is made by bundling handmade washi paper, sandwiching a gold alloy between the sheets, and then rolling out the paper. Finally, when the paper is cut to the specified size, the edges, called "kirimawashi," have been used for cooking gold leaf. Gold leaf is made with natural ingredients and is painstakingly produced, so you can eat it with peace of mind.
The lineup of "En" gold leaf for cooking includes "Decorative" and "Standard" which sway softly when placed on top, the large and gorgeous "Engi Haku", and the "Furi Tsutsubo Light" which can be used just by sprinkling it. The lineup of shapes and sizes was expanded based on feedback from customers.
Culinary gold leaf "edge" decorative: 3,672 yen Standard: 2,268 yen
Culinary gold leaf "En" lucky leaf Small (5 sheets): 1,728 yen Large: 864 yen
Culinary gold leaf "En" Furitubo light 1,404 yen
In addition to arranging commercially available chocolates, we also recommend enjoying homemade chocolates with your children. You can also use them to garnish food and drinks to create a special feeling. For special occasions and everyday occasions. Many people become repeat customers after using it once, as it is an item that brightens the heart. The gold leaf coloring will bring many smiles to your faces.

green bean to bar CHOCOLATE "Bringing out the unique characteristics of cacao"
The owner, Takeyuki Adachi, personally visits the cacao bean producing areas and imports only the cacao beans that he is truly in love with through his own unique route. "green bean to bar CHOCOLATE" is a highly skilled store that produces chocolate from cacao beans by hand throughout the entire process, and has even won the highest award at the world's bean-to-bar chocolate awards.
The chocolate bar is made using only cocoa beans from one place of origin, without mixing them, and is a "single origin" chocolate that makes the most of the characteristics of the cocoa beans. It is a chocolate that melts smoothly in your mouth and leaves a long-lasting aftertaste.
We use traditional Japanese paper "washi" for packaging, and wrap the chocolates by hand with care. As the slight smell of ink can transfer to the chocolates if the paper is left as is, we continue the painstaking work of heating a few sheets at a time in an oven to remove the smell.PALO BLANCO -PERU- 50% -MILK- 1,728 yen
The chocolate bar recommended this time won the Milk Chocolate Bar Award at the Northwest Chocolate Festival, North America's largest bean-to-bar chocolate festival, in October 2023.
We use white cacao beans called "Palo Blanco" from the Piura region of Peru. It is a very rare cacao bean, accounting for only about 0.0002% of all cacao beans. It has little bitterness or off-flavors, a slight fruity flavor, a strong chocolate flavor reminiscent of hazelnuts, and a malty aroma.
The chocolate sold at the Nihonbashi store is made at the main store in Nakameguro. No vanilla, flavorings, or preservatives are used, so you can really taste the flavor of the cacao beans themselves. The basic flavor is always the same, but depending on the cacao beans that are delivered and the production lot, there may be subtle differences in flavor, such as "the taste is a little different from last time" or "this time it smells a bit like white grapes."
By slowly roasting the cocoa beans at a low temperature, the sweet aroma of honey and the savory aroma of hazelnuts are mixed together, and by adding skim milk, a sophisticated and deep flavor like ar* Grey milk tea was born. This flavor is recommended for anyone, including those who are trying bean-to-bar chocolate for the first time. For the Valentine's season, gorgeous limited edition chocolates topped with fruit and limited edition sets will also be available! If you are looking for a chocolate gift for a discerning gourmet, be sure to check out "green bean to bar CHOCOLATE" at the Nihonbashi store on the 1st floor of COREDO Muromachi Terrace.

Nihonbashi Imoya Kinjiro "A happy encounter between sweet potato chips and chocolate"
Nihonbashi Imoya Kinjiro is a popular shop on the first floor of COREDO Muromachi 2 that often has RA行early in the morning. The "freshly fried kenpi" made in the shop's attached workshop is very popular, but a special item that is only sold from October to May is the "Chocolate-covered kenpi."
Chocolate-covered Kenpi Bitter chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate: 500 yen each Amaou, organic matcha: 600 yen each
It was created in 2010. Regular imokenpi is deep-fried and then covered in syrup, but coating it in chocolate instead creates a whole new, delicious taste!
Choco-Kake Kenpi's original chocolate is made with a carefully selected blend of high-quality chocolate and cocoa butter made from natural cocoa beans from Ghana and the Ivory Coast. To ensure that you can fully enjoy the deliciousness of both the imo-kenpi and the chocolate, they apparently went through many trials and errors to get the texture of the imo-kenpi and the amount of chocolate to sprinkle on top. On top of that, in order to achieve the perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture that allows you to enjoy the deliciousness of the chocolate, they are so thorough that they suspend sales during the summer months of June to September, when the chocolate melts. This makes it a delicious treat that can only be enjoyed during the cooler months of the year.Currently, there are five flavors available at Nihonbashi Imoya Kinjiro: basic bitter chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, premium Amaou, and organic matcha. The most popular is the classic "milk chocolate" which is made with a deep flavor by blending cacao from different regions. The luxurious flavors that use premium domestic ingredients such as Amaou from Fukuoka Prefecture and organic matcha from Kagoshima Prefecture are also popular.
It's a unique and affordable chocolate snack that you won't find anywhere else, so it's also very popular as a gift to send to friends and people you care about during the Valentine's season. Many customers buy it in bulk. The flavor matches well with both green tea and coffee, so it seems to be enjoyed by a wide range of people.
