[COREDO Muromachi 1] Michel Bach Nihonbashi 's authentic drip coffee
COREDO Michelbach Nihonbashi opened in April 2023 as the in Shops of HAKUZA NIHONBASHI, a foil specialty store on the first floor of Muromachi 1. Michelbach is a confectionery store with its main store in Shukugawa, Hyogo, and is the only Nihonbashi store with a cafe space.
It is a popular store with lines sometimes forming in the morning or RA行, but it is relatively empty after lunch on weekdays, so it is a good time to visit! Many people enjoy reading and talking in the space with stylish interior and artistic design.Hot coffee at MICHEL BACH Nihonbashi is carefully hand-dripped after an order is placed. The coffee beans used are the "MELLOW" blend from Okinawa's coffee Shops YAMADA COFFEE. Light roasts have become popular recently, but the coffee is roasted medium-dark or darker to go well with sweet treats. The coffee is a well-balanced blend of four types of coffee from Kenya, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Columbia.
YAMADA COFFEE's "MELLOW" is now available in stores
The coffee beans are medium ground, and the dripper is a "Kono style" that does not require steaming time. The water is warmer than usual, and dripped so that you can fully enjoy the bitterness of the beans. The water is poured in small amounts at a time, while watching the beans expand. The surface of the coffee beans expands significantly, which is proof that the beans are fresh. It takes about three minutes to extract one cup of coffee, and then it is poured into Okinawan pottery (yachimun) and finished. There are counter seats, so you can watch the drip process up close.
Direct from the pros: How to brew Kono-style hand-drip coffee
The dessert recommended to go with coffee this time is the staff's most popular "Almond Tart." It has a sweet and sour refreshing taste, accented with lemon and finished with apricot jam.
The carefully brewed coffee has a rich, satisfying flavor, yet leaves a surprisingly clean aftertaste. It pairs perfectly with the tart, which has a nice doughy texture. The two flavors complement each other perfectly, so you'll be able to finish it all in no time.Hot coffee 640 yen Almond tart 460 yen

Its pistachio green and white awning is a striking landmark in COREDO Muromachi 1. Lina Stores, an Italian restaurant originating from London, England, is an all-day dining establishment that can be used at a wide range of times, from lunch to aperitifs and dinner.
Of course, you can also use it as a cafe! You can always enjoy a coffee menu like you would in an Italian bar, the home of espresso. The regular coffee menu currently consists of six items: "Espresso," "Double Espresso," "Americano," "Café Cappuccino," "Café Latte," and "Café Mocha." The menu is made using espresso brewed using the same coffee beans and espresso machines as in the UK.

Allpress Espresso's coffee beans are used in over 1,200 cafes and restaurants around the world, and have a roastery and cafe in Kiyosumi Shirakawa in Japan. They produce freshly roasted coffee beans with a dark chocolate flavor and fruity, vibrant aroma. The espresso machine used is the Italian La Marzocco, recommended by Allpress Espresso, and is a perfect match for the coffee beans.
The coffee I had this time was a "Caffe Cappuccino," an espresso topped with steamed milk foam, which is apparently a popular drink in the morning in Italy.Cafe Cappuccino 650 yen
Compared to cafe lattes, which use steamed milk, this coffee has a soft and fluffy taste. It has no particular flavor and is easy to drink, so it is recommended for those who don't like the bitterness of coffee.
If you want to enjoy some sweets, why not try the famous Italian dessert, "Cannolo"? Lina Stores' Cannolo has a subtle sweetness and a mature taste, so it goes well with a fragrant cappuccino. -

Yanaka Coffee that roasts green beans only after receiving an order. Inside the store, there are about 30 varieties of green beans that have not yet been roasted!
There are many products that will impress coffee connoisseurs, but one that stands out is the "Nihonbashi Blend," which is only available at COREDO Muromachi. It has a sophisticated flavor that is conscious of the history and traditions of Nihonbashi. It has a deep, rich flavor and goes well with milk. The coffee beans are roasted on the spot after an order is placed. The process takes about 10 minutes. If you brew it immediately after roasting, you can enjoy the fragrant aroma, but if you wait about a day, the flavor will blend and you can enjoy the original taste of the beans.
We also offer take-out, aromatic coffee brewed one cup at a time using freshly roasted beans. The coffee beans used change daily, so you'll have to come to the store to find out what you'll be drinking! Many people take a break with a cup of coffee, sitting on the benches in "Fukutoku Garden" in front of the store.

The shop also sells original cookies and ViS, almost all of which are handmade and go perfectly with coffee.
By the way, it is said that the key to pairing coffee with sweets is to match the sourness and bitterness of the two. For example, it is said that lemon sweets will have a stronger flavor if paired with lightly roasted, refreshing coffee. Why not find your favorite coffee beans and roast at Yanaka Coffee and explore the best pairing? -
[COREDO Muromachi Terrace] guàng 's Americano
"Eslite Spectrum Nihonbashi" is located on the second floor of COREDO Muromachi Terrace. In one corner of the building is the cafe "guàng". It is a sister store of "torse", a cafe in Yutenji where customers always line up.

The antique-style interior and sophisticated tableware create a very comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is open from 11:00 to 22:00 (last orders at 21:00), so you can use it for a variety of occasions, from brunch to after dinner.Guan's signature coffee menu item is the "Americano." Americano is coffee made by adding hot water to espresso to dilute it. It is characterized by its reduced bitterness while retaining the crema (foam on the surface) and strong aroma of the espresso.
The coffee beans are sourced from "PEGGY COFFEE," a specialty coffee roaster in Nagoya, and two different types are used depending on the type of coffee. For the Americano, they use "Mocha French" beans, which are dark roasted to go well with sweets. They have a gorgeous mocha flavor and a refined, elegant sweetness, and although they are dark roasted, they have a very clean taste, which goes well with milk.Cafe latte 803 yen Americano 748 yen

[Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower] Agora Cafe's historic coffee
Agora Cafe opened in 2020 as an official satellite cafe of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It currently operates as an entertainment cafe, while retaining the interior decorations that convey the Olympic legacy, such as highlights from past Olympic Games.
Its biggest attraction is the entertainment show stage "Agora Night," which is held almost every night on weekdays. There is a stage set up inside the store, and you can enjoy shows by performers active both in Japan and abroad, all for free.
If there are seats available on the day, no reservation is necessary. You can casually enjoy a wide range of entertainment genres, including pole dancing, contemporary dance, traditional performing arts, magic shows, singing, and more.Agora Cafe, which is filled with an entertainment spirit, is also particular about its coffee, and serves original coffee from Douwe Egberts, which has a history of 260 years. Coffee is served in an original cup with the Douwe Egberts logo. The iced coffee glass is a special order for Agora Cafe, made by HARIO, a long-established glass manufacturer in Nihonbashi, and is particularly impressive! Both hot and iced coffee are large in size, making for a very satisfying drink.Hot coffee 580 yen Iced coffee 580 yen
Agora Cafe is conveniently located on the 2nd floor Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, but it's a little tucked away so it's not too conspicuous and has the added charm of being a hidden gem.
There are relatively more seats available during cafe time on weekdays, so it is OK to use it for business meetings or online meetings as long as it does not disturb other customers. It is a convenient shop that can be used for a wide range of occasions, from lunch to dinner, whether you are alone or with a large group. -
