    The "Kurume weave" monpe series is made in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture and the surrounding area. "Kurume weave" is woven with evenly dyed threads to create patterns.     Kyogashisho Tsuruya TSURUYA YOSHINOBU in COREDO Muromachi 3 has a fresh confectionery demonstration corner called Kayu Chaya. You can enjoy freshly made confections, carefully crafted one by one by confectioners, along with matcha green tea. At the counter seats, which are limited in number, you can feel the delicate Japanese spirit as you watch the confectionery being made right before your eyes and enjoy conversation with the confectioners. Enjoy the smooth, elegantly sweet confectionery and bittersweet matcha green tea, perfect for a break from shopping.

    At Shops, you can also purchase their signature sweets, "Yuzu Mochi," which makes use of the flavor of yuzu, and "Kyo Kanze," which features a Kanze water motif. Since their creation in 1918 (Yuzu Mochi) and 1920 (Kyo Kanze), the taste has been passed down unchanged using the same recipe. These traditional Japanese sweets are also perfect as souvenirs.
