    info

COREDO Muromachi Terrace 2F〈guáng〉 Blue Lychee Cream Soda 858 yen (tax included) *Available from 11:00 to 21:00

Start your walk around town from COREDO Muromachi Terrace! Guáng is a sister store of the popular Yutenji cafes "Torse" and "Lueur," and is a hot topic on social media as it serves the popular dishes from both stores. In addition to their signature dishes of tarts and omelet rice, the drinks menu, which use healthy ingredients, is also popular.

The drink that Guan recommends this summer is the "Blue Cream Soda"! The sky blue color is so photogenic, it's like the summer sky has been captured in the drink.

The fizzy soda has a refreshing lychee flavor. You can eat the ice cream as is, or dissolve it in soda and drink it.

This refreshing drink is perfect for hot days as it looks and tastes great.

    info

COREDO Muromachi 1 1F FUNABASHIYA Uji Kintoki 1,320 yen (tax included) *Available from 11:00 to 18:00

Back when there were no air conditioners or ice packs, people used to eat shaved ice to cool down. Even now, on scorching hot days, you'll find yourself craving shaved ice.

The place to satisfy that craving for shaved ice FUNABASHIYA ya on the first floor of COREDO Muromachi 1. FUNABASHIYA is famous as the original kuzumochi shop, founded in the second year of the Bunka era of the Edo period.

The shaved ice made by Kuzumochiya has a little secret. FUNABASHIYA 's handmade matcha syrup contains "Kuzumochi Lactic Acid Bacteria®️," extracted from the raw materials of Kuzumochi, which is made by fermenting lactic acid. It is FUNABASHIYA 's unique "syrup that is gentle on the stomach," born from a fermentation method that has been handed down for many years!

A drizzle of matcha syrup on fluffy ice. It melts in your mouth like snow, with a great texture. It is also topped with a generous amount of FUNABASHIYA 's homemade red beans, which are served separately.

Despite its appearance, it's so delicious you'll finish it in no time.

Relieve the fatigue of walking around the city with delicious snacks and sake

    info

Bluefin tuna and seasonal white fish sashimi 1,320 yen (tax included) *Available from 17:00 to 22:00

If you like alcohol, why not have a quick drink at the end of your walk around town?

Hakkaisan Sennen Kojiya offers fermented foods and sake that make use of the bounty of nature, with the theme of "rice, koji, and fermentation." It is a brand with the desire to share with many people the food that has been cultivated in Uonuma, Niigata Prefecture, a place where fermentation culture has been passed down, and the wisdom that has been cultivated in nature.

What you should enjoy at Hakkaisan Sennen Kojiya is Hakkaisan, one of the representative sakes of Niigata Prefecture. They have a full lineup of sakes, from regular sake to pure rice sake, so you can enjoy comparing the different varieties. It's a paradise for sake lovers.

If you want to pair your Hakkaisan with tuna, we recommend the "Otsukuri" dish, which is a dish of bluefin tuna and seasonal white fish. The sashimi pickled in koji has a concentrated umami flavor and goes well with chilled sake.

The base of the sashimi is made of ice made from melting snow from Uonuma, giving it a cool appearance.

Enjoy some delicious sake and snacks to soothe your tired body after walking around the city.
