LIFA, used for the outer fabric and padding, is a functional material made from highly hydrophobic polypropylene.

We've incorporated all the advantages of LIFA material, which HELLY HANSEN has cultivated over the years, into this product.


The outer fabric is made of densely woven polypropylene, which is hydrophobic and absorbs very little water, so it repels sprays and rain that land on the fabric surface.

Because it is made of 100% polypropylene, it is also characterized by its excellent lightness.


The padding used is LIFAＬＯＦＴ.
HELLY HANSEN has collaborated withＬＯＦＴto develop a polypropylene + polyester filling that is approximately 20% lighter at the yarn level compared to typical polyester fillings.

It can trap a lot of dead air between the fibers, and because of its low thermal conductivity, it is difficult for the dead air to dissipate heat, allowing it to maintain high heat retention even when thin.

Due to the material's properties, another advantage is that it easily maintainsＬＯＦＴeven when wet with spray or sweat.

The underarm area features a highly stretchable and durable fabric that can accommodate even the most strenuous upper body movements.

A distinctive feature of the design is the front zipper.

By positioning it diagonally, we've created a design that is less likely to interfere with the zipper of an outer garment when worn as a mid-layer.

The collar is designed as a slightly lower stand collar to avoid interfering with outerwear.
