Zoff has launched "visible light photochromic lenses" that react to visible light in addition to ultraviolet light, changing color even when driving in daylight.
 
Conventional photochromic lenses change color depending on the amount of UV rays, but the new visible light photochromic lenses react to visible light as well as UV rays, so they naturally change color according to brightness not only outdoors but also in a car during the day, reducing glare. They are particularly effective in situations where glare is more likely to be felt, such as in a car during the day or near a window, where UV rays are less likely to reach.

It is capable of "gradation support," which means that the color changes gradually depending on the intensity of light, making it suitable for the following usage scenarios.
- In a car where strong light shines through the windshield, the lenses will naturally color themselves so as not to obstruct your view, even in tunnels.
- In daytime office or cafe windows, they provide a subtle tint and protect your eyes with natural tones.

This means that instead of the traditional binary choice of "outdoors or indoors," you can now take measures against glare that are tailored to the changing lighting environment in your daily life. This product also blocks 99% of UV rays, so it's recommended not only for glare protection but also for UV protection.
