THE NORTH FACE 's classic waterproof hard shell has been reconstructed using the "SYN-GRID" pattern making technique.

To minimize fabric waste generated during the manufacturing process, we optimize the patterns using rational geometry based on algorithms derived from 3D pattern data of garments. This reduces fabric waste from approximately 13% to approximately 7% without significantly changing the number of parts or seams.
