ENWhat is Ashinaga Ojisan' waterproof leather?

The leather is waterproofed during the tanning process and then given a strong water-repellent treatment on top of that, making it extremely water-resistant.
The great thing about this material is that it's stain and water resistant and easy to clean.

Basic care is easy, and no special care is required for a while after you start wearing them.
Using creams or sprays may reduce the waterproofing effect, so simply brush or wipe the surface to remove dust and dirt.

If your shoes get wet, dry them with a soft cloth, stuff newspaper or paper towels inside the shoes, and leave them to dry in the shade.
Storing the product before it dries may cause mold, so please make sure to store it when it is completely dry.

If it becomes difficult to repel water, protect it with a waterproof spray.
Please note that the water-repellent treatment applied to the surface of the leather may lose its effectiveness over time, unlike the waterproof treatment applied to the interior of the leather.
