*This does not mean that it will never break or get scratched.
*If dropped, the glass will break, but it will not shatter easily. Also, scratches once made will not go away.
*After applying multiple coats to existing scratches, the cracks and scratches will not disappear, but the prickly feeling on the cracked surface will tend to become smoother.
Scratches tend to become slightly thinner as the paint penetrates and adheres better, increasing gloss. (If the paint falls off, reapplication is recommended.)
