Founded in Japan in 1952, skiwear brand phenix has launched a new collection line, PHENIX, with Daisuke Gemma as director. Of particular note is the collaboration line with fashion designer Takahiro Miyashita, PHENIX by TKMT.
Miyashita says that PHENIX by TKMT was created with careful consideration, as if he were creating a work of art. Looking at the items on offer, they appear minimalist at first glance. However, the lining of all outerwear incorporates a design reminiscent of a fishing vest, and the numerous pockets provide excellent storage capacity. Despite this functionality, the stitching and seam tape are beautifully done, and the design is deep enough to be worn reversibly.
