[Kiso Narai-juku Kimura] Among the 11 Kiso post towns, the old-fashioned townscape remains strong
We sell warm gohei mochi, dumplings, and oyaki in Narai-juku.

[What is Narai-juku?]
Of the 11 Kiso post towns, Narai is the highest in altitude, and just before the difficult Torii Pass, this post town flourished with many travelers and was praised as "Narai Senken." The townscape has been designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings by the national government, and still retains a strong resemblance to its past.
Among these post towns is Kiso Narai-juku Kimura.
We have taken over a 300-year-old traditional Japanese house and set up a sales store in it. The familiar Kimura noren curtain is the landmark.
The aroma of soy sauce used to grill gohei mochi and dumplings stops people walking through town and makes them want to buy something.
On holidays, there are often long lines.
