United Nations Refugee Support Campaign Launched!

This campaign is conductedby the Japan Association forUNHCR, the official support channel for UNHCR(United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), in commercial facilities and on the streets throughout Japan to support UNHCR 's refugee assistance activities.

The campaign explains the activities and support provided by UNHCR, which assists refugees in over135 countries worldwide , and introduces the monthly ongoing support program, "UN Refugee Supporter."

People who were suddenly forced to leave their homes due to conflict or persecution.
Their lives as evacuees can last for more than a decade. With the hope of one day returning to their hometown, they live each day to the fullest amidst the uncertainty of the future.
From the day their displacement began until the day they could live safely in their homes after peace had returned, UNHCRcontinues to protect and support refugees.
