"New Japanese Tea Journey in Nagoya"

From Friday, October 30th to Friday, November 13th, the Nagoya Minato TSUTAYA BOOKS will be hosting a Japanese tea fair, "New Japanese Tea Journey in Nagoya."
The "New Japanese Tea Journey," which was first held at TSUTAYA BOOKS in June of this year, will now move to Nagoya, focusing on teas from Aichi and Mie prefectures.

Aichi Prefecture, known for its matcha production in Nishio, as well as Okazaki and Toyohashi, produces a variety of unique teas. Mie Prefecture, known as "Ise Tea," is one of Japan's leading tea-producing regions. The aroma and taste of tea vary greatly depending on the region, variety, and producer.
This fair features six brands, including tea farmers and Japanese tea specialty shops from Aichi and Mie prefectures. You can find a variety of teas on display, each showcasing the unique characteristics of its producer and reflecting the region's culture, such as sencha, hojicha, Japanese black tea, barley tea, and matcha.
This autumn, enjoy discovering local teas you may not yet know at Nagoya Minato TSUTAYA BOOKS.

We also hold tasting events, mainly on weekends, where the producers themselves will be present at the store.
This is a special opportunity to actually taste the tea while hearing directly about the region where it's produced and the dedication to tea making.
If you find a tea that interests you, be sure to enjoy the story behind it as well.

Please check the Nagoya Minato TSUTAYA BOOKS website for information on participating stores and the tasting event schedule.
