Owls who celebrated their birthdays on July 1st!

July 1st is Kaku and Kaworu's birthday!
Today, our barn owl, Kaku-san, turned 9 years old, and our Bengal eagle owl, Kaoru-san, turned 11 years old!
The barn owl in the first photo is said to have gotten its name because it looks like it's wearing a heart-shaped mask!
This heart-shaped face is said to be an evolved form designed to better gather surrounding sounds!
The Bengal Eagle Owl in the second photo is a rare and unusual owl, said to prefer walking on rocky terrain rather than flying!
Our shop hosts events where you can observe these owls and even hold them in your hands.
Please come and experience what it feels like to actually have an owl on your head!
