The bird that landed on my hand was a #Golden-winged Conure!
This parrot mainly inhabits the tropical rainforests of South America, and in the wild, they live in flocks of up to several dozen individuals!

It is said that this creature got its name because the pattern of the feathers growing on its chest resembles fish scales!

Furthermore, the body color of the Golden-winged Conure is very colorful, with shades of green, red, and yellow!
This is because the rainforest where they live is an environment surrounded by various colors of plants, flowers, and fruits, and these colors are used as camouflage to hide from predators in such an environment!

At our shop, you can experience feeding treats to these colorful conures (200 yen per session)!
