eSports Iwata Tournament to be held!

[DAY 1 January 10th (Sat)] e-Motorsports Tournament Overview
An offline racing tournament will be held using the hugely popular software "Gran Turismo 7" on a full-scale machine. The competition will be held in a tournament format to determine the No. 1 driver at "LaLaport IWATA." There will be three participant categories: "Experienced," "Elementary and Middle School," and "Group (Two-Pair)." Each category will have six participants, who will advance through qualifying, semi-finals, and finals. During the tournament, professional commentators will provide live commentary and liven up the venue. The six finalists in each category will receive a "1,000 yen LaLaport shopping voucher," and the winner will receive a trophy and a time certificate listing their fastest lap.

Eligible applicants: Experienced applicants
Anyone with experience can participate, from children to adults.

Elementary and Junior High School Division
Anyone can participate, whether they are an elementary or junior high school student, experienced or inexperienced.

Group Division (2-person pair)
Anyone, from children to adults, can participate as long as they are a pair of two, such as parent and child, company, school, etc.

Number of participants: 18 in each category, 54 in total
How to participate: Please apply for each category using the application form on the event details page. If there are spaces available on the day, you will be invited to participate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Trial session: We also have a trial play and experience session available for anyone to join on the day.

[DAY2 January 11th (Sun)] Fall Guys eSports Tournament Overview
Who will be No. 1 LaLaport IWATA? This is an e-sports tournament that is like a sports day and is open to all elementary and junior high school students. Aim for first place on a thrilling course where you'll jump, try not to fall, and more. The tournament winner will receive a crystal trophy and a 10,000 yen LaLaport shopping voucher! In addition to participating in the tournament, there will also be free time for the experience. Reservations are not required for the free experience, and it is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Target audience: Elementary and junior high school students
Number of participants: 50 people (pre-registration required for tournament)
Mini tournament participation on the day: 80 people
Approximately 80 people participated in the trial session

[DAY3 January 12th (Monday/Holiday)] AR/HADO Overview
HADO is a next-generation AR activity that uses AR (Augmented Reality) technology to shoot magical energy balls with your own hands! Anyone, from children to adults, can play right away.
The rules are simple and easy to understand. Experience unprecedented excitement with your family and friends! Receive an original certificate when you defeat a monster or complete the game!

How to participate: No reservation required. We will guide you in order at the reception on the day.
