schedule 2025/10/24 (Fri) - 10/25 (Sat)
time 10:00~18:00
place LaLaport FUKUOKA 1F Media Park
This event was held for the first time in Tokyo and Nagoya last year, and this year it will be held in Fukuoka, following Sendai in May.
This event will recreate a variety of wooden spaces, including those made from cedar and cypress, within the event space. By "touching," "feeling," and "experiencing," visitors will become familiar with wood and gain a deeper appreciation for its beauty.

■ "Living Space Zone"
Many items that have won wood design awards will be on display for dining tables, interiors, miscellaneous goods and interior decor. The exhibition will evoke the image of a living space surrounded by wooden products.

■ "Learn and feel trees" zone
There will be a corner where you can experience the smell and feel of wood, allowing you to touch and feel the wood directly.

■Works exhibited at the Osaka-Kansai Expo "Future LIFE Village" are now available in Fukuoka!
The wooden exhibition unit, which was well-received as part of the Forestry Agency's temporary exhibition "Wood Change 2025" at the "Future LIFE Village" at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, will be on display. In addition to introducing wooden products and having a corner where you can play with wooden toys, there will also be an exhibition of "Kumiko Art" and "Wood Fabric Art."

Wood Education Tour (Wood Experience Stamp Rally)
A two-day wood education tour will be held where you can visit six wooden wonder stalls, touch and feel the wood, with activities such as "Let's play with mysterious wooden toys," "Which is the wooden spoon? Touch and guess," and "Let's look at the wood with a magnifying glass." Those who visit all six stalls and collect stamps will receive a wonderful wooden novelty item (a small cypress house).

Taking advantage of Japan's abundant timber resources as a forest-rich country, the program allows visitors to actually experience the use of timber, primarily cedar and cypress, and allows many people to "experience," "feel," and "sympathize" with how replanting cedar trees with less pollen can help combat hay fever, contribute to carbon neutrality, contribute to SDG efforts, and prevent natural disasters.
