SHONAN TREE HOUSE EVENT REPORT
12/16 (Sat) Let's make Christmas icing cookies!
We held an event called "Let's make Christmas icing cookies!" to coincide with the Christmas season.
Many people participated, including parents and children, siblings, and friends!
We will introduce the scenery of the event and the wonderful finished products.
The lecturer was Hiromi Harada, a lecturer and instructor at the Japan Icing Cookies Association, from Shonan Chigasaki Icing Cookies Class Harenohi.
In addition to icing cookies, she is also a certified flower cake instructor.
If you are interested in learning more, please come to Professor Harada's classroom!
First, Professor Harada will show us how to do it.
Everyone was watching intently, watching the teacher's skillful and delicate movements!
Using four colors of icing cream (red, white, skin colored, and green), we will draw parts on two cookies in the shape of Santa and a Christmas wreath.
It seemed difficult to use hard and soft cream depending on the part, but by working together as parents and children, everyone made great progress!
Once you have spread the base cream over the entire cookie, use stiff icing cream or sprinkles to add your own original elements.
Santa's beard is shaggy and has patterns drawn on it. Christmas wreaths are decorated with colorful sprinkles to create ornaments.
Finally, let it dry a bit...
The perfect icing cookies for Christmas are ready!
It would make a great ornament for your Christmas tree or give as a gift!
Many people, from children to adults, enjoyed the event.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with the people you love and cherish.
