“いつもより、ひとしおの技と心を”
「ひとしお」とは、もともと染色の世界で使われてきた言葉。布を染料に一度浸すことを「一入（ひとしお）」と呼び、回数を重ねるごとに、色は深く、鮮やかに、美しく育っていきます。現代では「より一層」という意味で、特別な感慨を表す際に使われています。
31年目の花ふきんは、“いつもより、ひとしおの技と心を”をコンセプトに、通常の花ふきんよりも工程を多く重ねてつくった、特別な仕立ての一枚です。
今回の“ひとしおの技”は、 捺染で描いた柄の上に、さらに刺繍のステッチを施すことで、花ふきんの表面に奥行きのある世界を表現しました。
