On Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, we will be holding "Sky Lantern 2026 & Shiga Prefecture Urban Development Future Expo" at MITSUI OUTLET PARK SHIGA RYUO!
The event features a "Shiga Prefecture Local Market" showcasing Shiga Prefecture's specialty products, fresh vegetables, and local gourmet food, as well as a variety of other attractions for all ages, from working vehicles and sports to animal encounters and festival games!
And at night, we will hold "Sky Lantern 2026," where many lights will illuminate the night sky.
Enjoy a special day with your family, friends, and loved ones from noon until evening.

A grand gathering of Shiga Prefecture's attractions! We're holding a market where you can "see, eat, and experience."
Organizations involved in tourism and local products from various regions within the prefecture will participate, showcasing the unique attractions of their respective areas.

Self-Defense Forces, police, and excavators – popular "working vehicles" that kids love – are now available!
This corner offers children the chance to see vehicles they wouldn't normally get to see up close, and even experience riding in them.

③ Sports Corner
• Event time: 12:00 - 17:30
Toray Arrows Shiga, a volleyball team based in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, is hosting a sports experience event!
Through mini-games and other activities, you can enjoy experiencing the appeal of sports.
Our official mascot character, "Arochi," will also be making an appearance!

④ Micro pig & reptile/insect petting corner
• Event times: [Micro pigs 12:00-17:30] [Reptiles and insects 12:00-20:00]
Cute micro pigs and rare reptiles and insects that you don't usually get to see up close will be featured!
Let's experience the charm of living creatures by actually seeing and touching them!

There will also be a festival corner with popular games for children, such as scooping up super bouncy balls!

If the event cannot be held on Saturday, October 3rd due to bad weather, only "Sky Lantern 2026" will be postponed to Sunday, October 4th.
The "Shiga Prefecture Urban Development Future Expo" and other event contents have been canceled and will not be postponed to Sunday, October 4th.

If the event cannot be held on Sunday, October 4th due to bad weather, "Sky Lantern 2026" will also be cancelled.
