| Brand Concept | Kua Aina was founded in 1975 in Haleiwa, a small rural town on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. It has received tremendous support from local surfers, who say, "This burger is worth the 70-mile drive to eat," and has now grown to two stores in Hawaii, two in London, England, and 28 stores in Japan. An authentic Hawaiian gourmet burger made with 100% premium beef patties grilled on a lava stone grill. The most popular item is the "Avocado Cheese Burger" which uses plenty of ripe avocado and combines it with melted cheese. The seasoning is a secret spice recipe passed down from founder Terry Triplin. Hot sandwiches such as the "BLT Sandwich" made with crispy bacon, and fluffy Hawaiian pancakes are also popular. |
