Premium Doors Limited Model
CITIZEN 's flagship Campanola has released a limited edition Grand Complication model, the oribe.
Each Campanola is assembled by hand at a factory in Iida, Nagano Prefecture.
The dial is lacquered in a calm, deep green, reminiscent of Oribe ware, a famous tea oribe.
oribe ware is a type of Mino ware that was created in the Mino region (present-day Toki City, Gifu Prefecture) during the Momoyama period by Furuta oribe, a senior disciple of Sen no Rikyu and a military commander. It is said to have originated when it was made using a green glaze, and oribe, which uses a green glaze, is particularly famous.
This model has a variety of expressions thanks to the different textures of green lacquer applied to the ring on the back.
A watch incorporating four or more complicated mechanisms is called a "Grand Complication," and this model is equipped with a minute repeater, moon phase, perpetual calendar, and chronograph.
The case is treated with CITIZEN 's highly scratch-resistant surface hardening technology, Duratect α (2000-2500 Vickers hardness), the hardest of the Duratect series, achieving the same hardness as sapphire glass and a shine like precious metals.
The Campanola worldview of "beauty in the sky" unfolds within the domed sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating.
In addition to the original purpose of a watch, which is to tell time, this watch also offers the joy of looking at the dial, so please come and take a look at it in store.
All of our staff look forward to your visit.
