This month is a supermoon

November 5th is a supermoon.
There are several definitions of a supermoon, but this one falls under the definition of "the full moon that is closest to Earth in a year," "a full moon that occurs at a position that is 10% or more closer to Earth than average," and "a full moon that occurs within 360,000 km of Earth."

To coincide with this supermoon, we are introducing a new model from CITIZEN 's Attesa line, featuring the world's first automatic moon phase calculation function, the Lunar Program, in an analog solar-powered watch.

The movement uses a unique formula to calculate the age of the moon on that day based on the date information received via radio waves, and automatically displays the age of the moon on the moon phase display at 6 o'clock.

Also, since the phases of the moon look different in the northern and southern hemispheres, you can easily switch locations to match the different phases of the moon.

The most distinctive feature of the watch is the moon phase display, which was created using printing and metal electroplating techniques to create a silver moon that shines beautifully against the starry sky.The part of the watch that covers the moon is partially transparent in a gradation, allowing you to enjoy the movement of the hidden moon.
