CITIZEN offers free charging Services for Eco-Drive watches, which do not require regular battery replacement, at our stores.

When fully charged, an Eco-Drive (solar) watch will continue to work in the absence of light for six months to a maximum of seven years thanks to the power save function. To ensure safe use, we recommend that you expose the watch to sunlight for 5 to 6 hours once a month, preferably in a south-facing windowsill.

Radio-controlled watches and satellite-controlled watches require a certain amount of charge to receive radio signals.

If you have a problem, such as accidentally storing your solar-powered watch in a dark place and it stopping, or suddenly noticing that the second hand is moving at two-second intervals (charge warning function - a sign from the watch that there is not enough light), please feel free to come to CITIZEN.

We use an LED quick charger that emits 100,000 lux, the same brightness as sunlight, to fully expose your Eco-Drive watch to light and charge it.

If it's a CITIZEN product, no matter where the watch was purchased, it's free, anytime, and as many times as you like.
