HAWKINS' classic masterpiece, with its retro feel, has been updated.
The upper is made of oil leather, the same type used in work boots and baseball gloves.
Leather is highly durable, has water-repellent properties due to being impregnated with oil, and conforms better to the foot compared to regular leather.
The shoes feature "WATER-TECH" technology, using a Japanese-made waterproof membrane between the upper and the inner lining to prevent water from entering the shoe even in sudden rain.
The midsole uses IP (foamed rubber), which is often used in running and walking shoes, resulting in excellent flexibility and cushioning.
The outsole incorporates "Panatetra," a tetrapod-shaped needle-like crystalline material, to achieve high grip and excellent slip resistance.
