In 2026, GODIVA celebrates its 100th anniversary with the launch of the Year of the Horse, and with its horse logo, GODIVA presents the New Year Fortune Collection. In honor of the legend that seeing a white horse at the beginning of the year wards off evil spirits, this collection features chocolates and other items featuring Lady GODIVA riding a horse, packaged in a white horse design. This collaboration with Kamigamo Shrine, a World Heritage Site and one of Kyoto's oldest shrines, has a long history of ties to horses, and includes Kamigamo Shrine's "Successful Message" for the Year of the Horse. If you find a pale blue heart on your Lady GODIVA-designed white chocolate, you've hit the jackpot. It's sure to be a very successful year. The witty votive plaque-style card, bearing Kamigamo Shrine's message of "Nine running horses" ("Going Well"), is perfect as a lucky charm for the Year of the Horse.
