First landing in Kanto!
Founded in 1948 (Showa 23), Sennariya Coffee is the birthplace of mixed juice.

In 1948, the company was founded as a fruit store in Janjan Yokocho in Shinsekai.
The mixed juice was first offered at the suggestion of the first owner, Ichiro Tsunekawa, who wondered if there was something he could do with the fruit that was too ripe to be displayed in the store. It had a unique texture similar to a smoothie, and was praised by local customers, who said it was delicious. In 1935, the business converted to a coffee shop, and it became one of the two signature menu items, alongside "reiko (iced coffee)." It was later adopted as a standard menu item at other coffee shops, and spread widely across the country.
