Yokohama Chinese New Year Festival 2026 in LaLaport YOKOHAMA

The Yokohama Chinese New Year Festival finally makes its first appearance at LaLaport YOKOHAMA!
This year, you can enjoy the traditional event that is held every year in Yokohama Chinatown to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Spring Festival) at Lalaport LaLaport YOKOHAMA!
Experience the festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year while shopping!
LaLaport YOKOHAMA Closed: February 17th (Tue) and February 18th (Wed) Therefore, we may not be able to participate or respond to some requests.
Please be aware of this.

■Giant lantern object exhibition & digital stamp rally
Lantern objects will be on display in front of NIKE on the first floor of South Court.
A QR code for the Yokohama Chinese New Year Festival Digital Stamp Rally is also displayed next to the lantern object.
Giant lantern object exhibition: January 20th (Tue) - March 5th (Thu)
Digital Stamp Rally: January 20th (Tue) to March 3rd (Tue)
*Since LaLaport YOKOHAMA Closed on Tuesday, February 17th and Wednesday, February 18th, the QR code for the digital stamp rally will be posted at the Kamoiguchi and Central Garden entrances on the 1st floor.

■Original Lantern Shops *This event has ended.
An original lantern making experience will be held.
Make your own original lantern that is one of a kind!

Participants: Mitsui Shopping Park Kids Club only

*The lanterns you create will be on display in the museum from the next day onwards. You will not be able to take them home on the day.
*After the exhibition ends, we will give the lanterns you made to anyone who is able to come inside the museum.
* Delivery period is from Thursday, March 5th to Sunday, April 5th during Hours of operation.
Delivery is not available every Wednesday, February 17th (Tuesday), and February 18th (Wednesday).

■ Lion dance performance *This event has ended.
You can enjoy a lion dance performance that is different from Japanese lion dances.
