United Nations Refugee Support Campaign Launched!

The Japan Association for UNHCR, the official support office for UNHCR(United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), is conducting this campaign in commercial facilities and on the streets across the country to supportUNHCR 's refugee assistance activities.

The campaign explains the activities and support provided by UNHCR, which provides refugee assistance in over 135countries around the world , and introduces the monthly ongoing support program, "UN Refugee Supporter."

People who are suddenly forced to leave their homes one day due to conflict or persecution.
Their refugee life can last for more than a decade. They live each day with the hope that "I want to return to my hometown one day," and with the uncertainty of the future, they struggle to survive.UNHCRcontinues to protect and support refugees from the day their refugee life begins until the day they can live safely in their hometowns once peace has returned.
