This small-sized quartz model is inspired by the seasonal word "Kaze Hikaru" (the shining wind), which expresses the gentle spring breeze that shines brightly alongside the cherry blossoms.
This model is based on the "62GS Modern Design Model," a modern interpretation of the "62GS," the first automatic mechanical watch in Grand SEIKO history, released in 1967. The dial expresses the unique seasonal changes of Japan.
Its appeal lies in its spacious-looking dial, achieved through a bezel-less design, and its sharp, multifaceted case, made possible by ZARA polishing.
The dial depicts a scene of cherry blossoms in full bloom under the spring sunshine, with a refreshing breeze rustling the petals and causing them to sparkle as it blows.
The movement uses the "Caliber 4J51" quartz movement with an accuracy of ±10 seconds per year.
Spring is a season when all life shines brightly and purely, bathed in warm sunlight.
"Kaze Hikaru" (The Wind Shines), representing the vibrant energy of that period, depicts the wind shining brightly in the sunlight.
The bright, positive, and lighthearted feelings after the cold and harsh winter are expressed through the organic embossed pattern and pale blue dial.
By symmetrically placing diamonds on the indices, we have achieved a harmony between beauty and legibility, resulting in a glamorous and pleasing dial.
The case design ensures high visibility despite its small size.
With a small 26mm case diameter, this quartz model combines elegance and functionality, making it easy to match with any outfit.
