The dial is inspired by the dynamic currents surrounding Japan, an island nation, and expresses the flow of the ocean through stamped patterns and color gradations.
By darkening the outer edge, the visibility of the time is improved, and by brightening the center, the pattern is made to stand out.
The color gradation emphasizes the flow of the tide and creates an effect that evokes a sense of the vastness of the ocean.
