Zoff 's Visible Light Photochromic Lenses

Eyewear brand Zoff will begin selling "visible light photochromic lenses" at Zoff stores nationwide from Friday, July 4, 2025. These lenses react to visible light as well as ultraviolet light, and change color even in the Zoff during the day.
 
Conventional photochromic lenses change color depending on the amount of UV rays, but the new visible light photochromic lenses react to visible light as well as UV rays, so they naturally change color according to brightness not only outdoors but also in a car during the day, reducing glare. They are particularly effective in situations where glare is easily felt, such as in a car during the day or next to a window, where UV rays are difficult to reach.

Since it is capable of "gradual color change according to the intensity of light," it is suitable for the following usage scenarios.
•When in a car where strong light shines through the windshield, the lenses naturally color without blocking your view, even in tunnels.
•When worn by a window in an office or cafe during the day, the lenses provide a subtle tint and natural tone to protect your eyes.
