[Reference Information: What is PROJECT GLP?]
PROJECT GLP (Japan Got Next) is a development and overseas challenge support project by SpoWota Co., Ltd., aiming to create opportunities for Japanese female basketball players to challenge themselves overseas and to produce players who will play in the WNBA in the future. It is operated with Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. as its official sponsor.
There are many female athletes in Japan with the potential to compete on the world stage. However, until now, they have lacked the connections, networks, and information to reach American universities (NCAA/National Collegiate Athletic Association), preventing them from even getting the opportunity to compete. PROJECT GLP aims to become that missing pipeline. Now, while the market is expanding the most, we will quickly send promising Japanese athletes to the world stage.
