The person in the photo is Yuri, a Eurasian eagle owl!
It's so big, and just being there is impressive!

What's the difference between an owl and a barn owl?

They are distinguished by whether or not they have decorative feathers called "tufts"!

The difference between owls is that owls have tufts above their eyes, while barn owls don't!
Although they have different names, both barn owls and owls are birds of the same family, Strigidae!

When you think of owls, you probably imagine them flying through the darkness.
In fact, just as you might imagine, many owls are active from the evening through the night!
That's why they have big eyes that allow them to see well in the dark!
Unlike humans, they cannot move their eyes, but they can rotate their necks 270 degrees to ensure a wide field of vision!

Although they have fluffy feathers and look cool, owls are actually birds of prey that eat meat!
In the wild, they hunt mice and hares using their sharp claws and strong grip.

Our store is holding an event where you can hold this cool owl in your hands!
You can ride on an owl, which you normally can't, and observe it up close.

Please come and experience the charm and power of owls for yourself.

We look forward to your visit.

*The event may be cancelled depending on the health of the animals.
